Hi! I am a Hungarian guy from Ukraine. In the region where I was born and grew up, there are a lot of people of different nationalities. It is not a problem to me to get excited by other cultures and languages. That is why I could learn Ukrainian and Russian besides Hungarian and English. Now I am enthusiastic about learning German. By the way, I have some basic knowledge of Esperanto, too:)
I spent the last two years mostly in Hungary where I am studying currently. I am a student of ELTE in Budapest, now I am really interested in finance.
I consider myself as a person with high ambitions who is a bit shy at the same time. My two main hobbies are music and (watching/analyzing) football (+ travelling, of course). I play the piano (and also violin in the past) for 10 years. I know it is childish but my dream is to become the sporting director of my favourite club.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and a friend of mine (see him on the 2nd photo) are participating in the DiscoverEU program, we won an Interrail pass(UPDATE: he cancelled so I am alone). We are planning to go to Zürich, Rome, Florence and Milan (+Naples) together and I want to travel to Munich, too. However, our trip would be more authentic if we discovered these cities through the locals' eyes. Besides that, we are excited about meeting new people not only from those locations and would be happy if someone could join us for a walk.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like very different kinds of music from classical composers like Rachmaninoff, Chopin or Tchaikovsky through swing, rag, chanson, rock, The Beatles to alternative music like Twenty One Pilots.
I prefer reading novels, my favourites are The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov and the Harry Potter stories. I am also a fan of Agatha Christie.
Honestly, I do not really have time to watch movies as there are a lot of football matches I have to see:) , but for me those old Piedone films are the best. Star Wars (not all) and Harry Potter are good, but the book is better. My favourite finance-related movie is The Big Short. Also fond of The Big Bang Theory.

I have played on a piano at the Central Park and on the Times Square in NYC back in 2015.
