About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to not be a night owl and miss all the summer weather
ABOUT ME
I'm constantly learning things (and then forgetting them). Sometimes I might be lazy and hang around all day doing nothing but other days I'll do everything. I love being swept along in enthusiasm, be it my own or others'.
I daydream, a lot.
Another thing about me is that I have a medical condition that affects my back. To treat this I take medicine that must be kept cold and do some stretches. So if I seem to be very curious about your fridge or you find me trying to tie myself in knots, that's why.
PHILOSOPHY
Everyone is different and I try to approach them with an open mind.
Treat everyone as you would want to be treated, especially me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've done a little bit of surfing and I host a little in the summer. I'd be delighted to meet up with people visiting Cork but I'm afraid I can't offer a couch at the moment.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've really enjoyed every part of it. Meeting new people and the exchange of ideas is

Music, Movies, and Books
My (guilty) pleasure is immersing myself in a fantasy book for hours at a time. My musical interests would be mainly in rock/metal and house/electronic but I also enjoy classical music a lot. I like to listen to new bands but after going on a splurge of listening to new stuff, I never remember the new artists I encountered, so I have a narrow base of bands that I listen to regularly. I really enjoy movies; comedies especially.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw a baby being delivered. one minute there's one person and the next there are two.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you a bit of Irish. I always like to pick up a few phrases from other languages. I'd be happy to discuss Irish culture and history (not that I'm an expert).
I'd love to learn some new recipes. I'd teach some as well but my repertoire isn't amazingly extensive.
I could teach you about some medicine-y things, if that floats your boat.
