Overview
About Me
I’ve spent most of my adult life travelling in one way or another. The biggest adventure was a full year on the road from 2016 to 2017.
These days I don’t travel quite as much as I used to, but I still manage to get away three to four times a year. I enjoy a mix of solo trips and adventures with friends, depending on the vibe. The last long journey I took was in 2022, spending two months wandering through Latin America — a mix of culture, chaos, and unforgettable experiences.
I’m not quite as hedonistic as I used to be, but I still like saying yes to new and unusual experiences — they’re often the best parts of a trip.
Now I travel with a bit more balance. I’m focused on learning Spanish, personal development, and building skills that make each trip more meaningful (and hopefully make me a better guest too).
When I’m travelling solo, I usually check out the local Couchsurfing meetups — it’s an easy way to connect with people and get a feel for the city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel has always been about people as much as places — as horribly cliché as that sounds. But clichés are usually true for a reason. Couchsurfing feels like the good way to experience a place: the little spots that don’t make it into guidebooks, and having conversations that stick with you.
I’ve done my fair share of hostels and solo wandering in the past, but I like how Couchsurfing creates a more genuine connection. When I travel solo, I usually check out the local meetups too — it’s a fun and easy way to meet people and share experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share
I’m happy to pitch in however I can — whether that’s helping cleaning up after a meal, or just being good company. I enjoy cultural exchange and can help with English (plus I’m always looking to practice my Spanish).
I can also share music, movie, and book recommendations, teach you a few card/board games, or we can play a few rounds of chess if you’re up for it. I’m always keen to learn , traditions, or even a new skill you want to pass on.
I love sharing ideas around personal development — whether it’s discipline, fitness, or philosophy. If you’re into that kind of thing, we can swap tips, books, or just talk about what drives us to grow.
And if nothing else, I can tell you lot of stories from the road.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can be a friend to practice English with (I'll also teach you some slang terms that only the cool kids know ;)),
Teach you a whole repertoire of unconventional dance moves (may or may not be useful at parties…)
Helping out around the house (cleaning, errands, light DIY if needed)
