Carpe diem!

Life is short, and you live this life only once; so what I think is important, is to live it in a way that you will not regret later on. Of course people make mistakes, and of course a decision can come out to have been “wrong”. However, better try and figure out it's not for you, instead of regretting later on that you've never had the courage. Each decision belongs to you, it never can be wrong, as long as you’ve learned something out of it.

Don’t waste your day saying you’ll do whatever it is “tomorrow”. Make the best out of your time. You never know whether there is a tomorrow. Or a next time. If you really want to do something, then go for it. If you are not happy with what you're doing, then quit and do something else. Fear and the lack of stability belong to life, don’t try to avoid them, you will not succeed. Simply accept them. Stop standing at the crossways for too long, that’s a waste of time. The longer you wait, the more you hesitate! When there is a will there is a way.

Don’t be too keen on security in life. There is no such thing. (Western) society makes you feel secure if you follow the path it wants you to believe to be the “common” one. Don’t believe that. What is life but a huge amount of changing situations? Nobody can control that. Enjoy what you do. Do what you enjoy, and go for the opportunities life offers!

Smile! Kindness doesn't take up a lot of effort, but it creates a lot of happiness.
