About Me

I'm always moving. In Brazil, I lived in 5 different cities - from São Paulo to the Amazon region -, in Winnipeg (Canada) and Liége (Belgium). By living in these places, I had the chance to travel around a lot and to fall in love with it.

My top priorities while travelling are visit historical places and eat local food (for some reason, food is my most vivid memories of past trips...). I'm not a fan of big tourist attractions - not because I'm a hipster, I just enjoy to see the 'real city', the one that is home to the people that live there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered in Couchsurfing in 2012 but I never really used it. Since I was always travelling with a lot of friends, it was easier to stay at hostels or rent a place in Airbnb.

Only recently I started to travel alone, so I decided to try Couchsurfing.

Interests

I love literature. When I was younger I wanted to be a writer (fourtunately I realized soon enough that it was my ego talking). But I didn't completely give up writing, and now I work as a reporter in a main Brazilian newspaper. I'm happy to ahve the chance to talk to new and interesting people, and to tell their stories.

Besides reading & writing, I love go to the cheap bars with my friends and discuss from politics to silly movies.
