ABOUT ME

My name is Fernanda, Im 24 years old. I graduated 2 years ago from a 4 year career where I studied English language and linguistics. Since then I have been working as an English teacher as a foreign language and as a Spanish teacher for foreigners, I have also worked as bilingual assistant at a company.
I was born in a city in the middle of Atacama desert called Antofagasta where I lived most of my life until I finished high school. After that I enrolled university in Santiago which is the capital of Chile.
Because of my dad's job I ve lived in many cities in Chile, which has given me the capacity to be flexible and adaptable. Such skills gave me the opportunity to go on an exchange program for a year in the United States, where I lived with an American family and went to an American high school where I made big friends. Since then, plus trips made with my family, I have been fond of travelling and meeting people of different cultures and with different views of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My boyfriend and I have surfed on couches around Southeast Asia and Japan. Every time we get the opportunity we go to a CS meeting. We are looking forward to get to Chile and start hosting.

I love movies; I enjoy going to the movies, renting movies or just seeing movies on TV. I prefer thriller,I like drama and horror. I also have fun with comedies.
