我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like to travel! You never know when you will need a place to stay, or connect with people in the same region. I gather its a great way to meet and get to know like minded people.

My main interest is just being outside. Many people today, unfortunately, get tied up with the daily series on T.V. or stay in instead of going outside to smell the roses! I try to be a positive role model to my closest friends and to my own family when the need arises! Soon, time catches up to us, where will all our time have gone? Will we have any regrets?! So I live everyday as if its my last! My hobbies include running the trails here in Texas, and hiking, and dabble in the ocassional cycling. I also like to read anything intellectually stimulating. :D

My favorite book is a canon of Collected Poems: A Season in Hell by Arthur Rimbaud. One of my undergraduate degrees is in literature with an emphasis in poetry, so naturally, Im inclined to gravitate towards poetics and a little of literary criticism.

I have been labeled the life of the party, by others, the quietest person ever! I guess im a living paradox! But seriously, I know this area quite well, when it pertains to the outdoors! Im also a great cook, er, or so Im led to believe!
