I grew up loving horses (especially my own Arabian) and am currently a jockey at California racetracks and a veterinary student at the University of California, Davis. My passion resulted in interning in Kentucky with equine sports medicine, volunteering with relief work in Myanmar on pack horses, and working with American Pharoah during a breeding internship. I love traveling, because I enjoy learning about other people's lives and culture, trying new food, learning languages, and pushing myself outside my comfort zone. I have made so many close friends through my travels, and I look forward to making many more!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My sister and I couch surfed during a trip to New Zealand last summer and had wonderful experiences with all of our hosts. We enjoyed meeting the local people to better understand the culture and to share life stories. I love traveling and thought it would be a great way to meet locals. I have continued to use CS on other trips and have always had great experiences. Unfortunately, at this time in my life I cannot accept guests, because I live with and care for an elderly lady so it is not my home to share. In the future I would love to give back to travelers through CS!

Interessen

I was a Division 1 pole vaulter at my undergrad university. I am a jockey and formerly did dressage and jumping. I also enjoy road cycling, raising pet chickens, and obviously traveling.

I love meeting new people and building friendships and acquaintances around the globe! I love to talk, try new things, and will gladly offer advice for any of the countries I have been that perhaps my host may want to visit. I am clean, easy going, respectful, and I get along with just about anyone!
