Overview
About Me
I am an introvert, but I make a lot of dad jokes. I’m training to be a psychiatrist, trying to improve my skiing skills, and still discovering myself and trying to understand the world around me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the experience, meeting new people, getting an insider's glimpse into a new place or culture, and to create a wider network of friends
Interests
Nature, outdoor activities, the seas and the mountains, science, teaching, learning, exploring, healthcare, progress
Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Changes from time to time. Really enjoy Sleeping at Last, Imagine Dragons, City of the Sun.
MOVIES: Shutter Island, The Dark Knight trilogy, My Name is Khan, Guardian, The Book Thief, Ode to my Father (Korean)
BOOKS: The Count of Monte Cristo, Three Cups of Tea, Into Thin Air, When Breath Becomes Air
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard to pick one so here are a few: 1. Lived in Turkey for a year (first time teaching abroad, first time couchsurfing, first time hitchhiking, met some of the most hospitable people I know) 2. Coast-to-Coast road trip 3. Caving and rappelling in Krabbi
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the languages I know (see above), maybe something about the places and cultures I’ve immersed in through my travels and my heritage, and a little bit about medicine.
I’d like to learn more languages, skiing and rock climbing techniques, how to do a proper handstand, and be more flexible and agile.
I can share my travel stories, my penchant for humor, love for exploring places and ideas, and my home if you are ever in town.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My stories, my time, my knowledge, my food, my place, my love for traveling, my curiosity for different cultures
