Travel, history, camping, all sorts of music, springs, strange occurances, juxtapositions, debate, languages, parsing the exact meanings of words and phrases, agriculture, permaculture, paradigms, people different than me, people who are on the same wavelength, new ways of doing things but also learning the ancient ways. Always new interests, rarely do old ones fade. I also like to drink good beers and occasionally boogie.

Cool Runnings is probably my favorite movie of all time.
Brazilian music is hard to beat, but I love all sorts of music. The Clash, Stevie Wonder, T-Rex, Nina Simone, Black Sabbath, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding, David Bowie, Chico Science, A Tribe Called Quest, Novos Baianos, Serge Gainsbourg, The Zombies. Etcetera. Love finding new stuff as much as possible.

Climbing up to the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro instead of taking the tram was pretty amazing!

There is plenty I can share, but I wouldn't consider myself an expert in anything. I studied history in college and I'm pretty well versed in that sort of thing. I like to be able to contribute to many kinds of conversation, so i'm always reading new stuff. I'm always down to chat about all sorts of interesting language stuff, and can teach English and Portuguese.
