I'm 22 years old and from Ireland, just finished my degree in physics from NUIM. Used to work in a big store in Dublin but was let go recently, onto bigger and better things next year though hopefully!

Hoping to surf for bit this Summer in Chicago! I can't really host at the moment but when I move into my own place next year anyone will be welcome to come stay with me in Dublin!

I like a lot of movies, music and books. Recent favorites are the movie Submarine, LCD Soundsystem are my favorite band and Get Shorty is a really great book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was part of an observing trip in October 2011 to the Observatoire Haute de Provence where we used the 0.8m, 1.2m and 1.5m telescopes to observe Seyfert galaxies, open clusters, variable stars and the supernova remnant Cas A

I have a pretty good basic understanding of concepts in physics and astronomy! I can tell you the fundamentals of quantum mechanics and what a black hole is!
