About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living in Pittsburgh, trying to live more

ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is Norman. Currently, I am doing my Ph.D. in philosophy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. I have studied in Germany and China. However, I am not always deepthoughted and grumpy. I love to enjoy people. I can be calm, but I do like to laugh with others.

PHILOSOPHY

You would not believe me, but this is a complicated question :)

Most of the time I just cannot believe what is happening in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I did not get into Couch Surfing so much, since I used the platform Hospitality Club. In my wildest times, I hosted almost everyday people in Berlin and Cologne. It was an enjoyable time and I met really interesting people that enriched my life. I hope that I can also do this for others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled a lot with hospitality club. I have been in France, Spain, America, Mexico, Great Britain, China, Hong Kong and everywhere. I really like to meet people and especially to sit in the evening and to talk.

Interests

I spend a lot of my life to play Piano. I am quite good, but a little rusty right now. Since I work in Pittsburgh it demands a lot of my time. I also like literature and consider myself to be a writer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess I have not to many favourites, it seems to me there is a pique of interesting stuff in everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have almost touched Obamas' hand, I have been James Cameron for one day in Disneyland Los Angelos, and I asked David Lynch, whether he is really David Lynch (he said "Only, if you don't ask me about the end of "Twin Peaks").
