CURRENT MISSION

Current mission?! well dang where do i start? Im currently in the process of trying as many new things as possible. Looking forward to doing some traveling in the near future, and just living a better lifestyle in general.

ABOUT ME

This profile is normally just for me (Chris Fierro) so it may be a little confusing to read the rest of the profile as it only references me. Olenka and I are going to be surfing instead of hosting for the first time on our trip down to burning man festival. We are 2 easy going, 20-something, hippy-esque type people embarking on a trip of a lifetime. We are traveling with a group of four and would idealy like to stay together, but we understand that this is a hefty request (we know, we host a lot). For this reason, Olenka and I have decided to make this joint profile and will understand if you can only host the 2 of us.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything once! and appreciate what you have. There is not much more i can really say on the topic i just live my life to experience what i can and learn as much as i can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Id like to say i just love spreading the word. It's an amazing community and pretty awesome to say "yea i have a couch surfer showing up from ______ tomorrow" it always sparks a good conversation if someone has never heard about CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well when i moved into a place right after i had moved back to Edmonton from Peace River AB, My one roommate Stefan had some surfers from Toronto i think. I just found it really amazing and cool that there was a large group of people that do this. since then as a household we have hosted probably 5 times in 3 months. Unfortunately Stefan is moving and i want to continue with the CS and meet more amazing traveler's!

for music i really do listen to everything. i grew up on punk rock and metal, but i currently listen to a lot of folk, blues, and electronica. Favourite movies would have to be Army of Darkness, Princess Bride, and Ratatouille. I cant say i really read much i probably read only 1 or 2 books a year. If i had to pick a favourite id say the biography on kurt Cobaine was amazing!

well ya know jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft was pretty awesome! Seriously everyone should skydive at least once in their life.
