ABOUT ME

Just a few of my favorite things: All things recycling, weeding down my lengthy travel destination list, rain in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the subsequent kayak creekin' opportunities, that feeling where you laugh so hard your eyes water and you can hardly breathe, Volunteer football and the fall colors in the Southeast, day-dreaming about my next vacation, catching up with solid gold friends, puppy fur, hiking in the snow, revamping old relics into fresh new peices, sushi, Subaru wagons, beaches in the Mediterrean, sleeping in every day of the week, stylie eyewear, a fireside warm-up after a long day on the slopes or the river, live music at stellar venues, and sitting out on the porch with close friends having a glass of wine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Newly joined after hearing about the site from a good friend who recently had a great experience coachsurfing in London. I am heading to Scandinavia and I thought I might dip into a little coachsurfing myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done my fair share of coachsurfing over the years- mostly of the impromtu and spontaneous variety throughout my world travels. Lots of friends of friends, or friends of the family, or occasionally friends made over the course of the evening out on the town. Many of these experiences have led to great friendships.

Interests

Whitewater kayaking, backpacking, snowboarding, recycling, exploring the planet, and drinking wine with friends.
