ABOUT ME

Currently itinerant, nixed the idea of living the "endless summer" -- austral summers on Antarctica, and boreal summers traveling and on the ocean -- by deciding to winter on the ice. I'm currently at Palmer Station, on the Antarctic Peninsula. I whiled away my wild and crazy youth listening to books on tape and knitting, and so decided to tone it down by running away to sea and taking up continent-hopping.

I've couchsurfed with friends in the US, a fantastic couple in Chile, and am looking forward to future welcoming experiences.

See giant ice blocks calving from the Piedmont Glacier and hearing and feeling the rumble.
Come face to face with a sea lion while snorkeling in the Galapagos.
