I am a young guy from Sweden who likes to travel and meet new people from different cultures. I want to explore different cities from a locals point of view. This is why I'd rather hang out with my host then staying at expensive hotels and doing boring "touristy" things. I am currently living in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up to Couchsurfing when I went backpacking with my best friend around Asia 2019. Now me and my friend are doing a new trip to Canada in May. We think it's a great idea to use couchsurfing as a way of saving money and instead using that for our sightseeing. We also think that couchsurfing is a lot more personal experience then staying at a boring hostel or expensive hotel. We get to meet new people and explore the place from a locals point of view!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a service trip to Laos in October 2016. It was really fascinating to explore such a different culture. It was also rewarding to be able to help out the people in need and make a difference in their community.
