About Me
Hey there! 👋
I’m a code developer by day, adventure-seeker by… well, also by day (and night, whenever possible). I’ve always been curious about how things work — whether it’s a tricky line of code or a weird local dish I can’t pronounce. That curiosity led me into tech, where I get to solve problems, build cool stuff, and occasionally feel like a wizard when things actually work.
But let’s be real — my true love is travel. Nothing beats landing in a new place, getting completely lost (on purpose), and soaking in the culture, chaos, and charm of somewhere I’ve never been. I believe the best way to grow is by stepping out of your comfort zone — and ideally into a local food market.
Speaking of food — I’m very serious about eating. I love tasting local dishes, wandering markets, trying mystery street snacks, and pretending I know how to cook them later. If you ever need a buddy for a food mission, I’m your guy.
When I’m not eating or coding, I’m probably outside. I’m into hiking, camping, hammocking at golden hour, skiing badly, and swimming every chance I get. Nature keeps me sane, inspired, and sunburned.
In short: I’m a curious, easygoing guy who loves stories, shared meals, random conversations, and seeing the world through other people’s eyes. I’m always up for learning something new — and Couchsurfing has been one of the most awesome ways to do just that.
Looking forward to meeting you — and hopefully sharing laughs, meals, or a hammock sunset somewhere along the way 🌍🌄
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to meet awesome humans, swap stories, and maybe steal a secret family recipe or two. Hotels are boring — I’d rather crash with locals, share laughs, and see the real side of a city (bonus points if there's food involved). Couchsurfing = good vibes, new friends, and the kind of adventures Google Maps can’t plan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve had a few unforgettable run-ins with bears — apparently, I’m on their “must-visit” list. Once, while camping by a mountain lake, a curious bear decided my tent was the place to be and came sniffing around like I was the main course. Spoiler: I survived, mostly by pretending to be really boring.
Another time, during a mountain bike ride, I spotted a bear from afar. We locked eyes for a second — me wondering if it wanted to race, the bear probably just confused about why I was shouting at a bike.
The most memorable was a camping trip that ended with me sleeping in the trunk of my car because a bear was hanging out too close for comfort. Let’s just say, cozy sleeping bags lost to car trunks that night.
And then, there were the little moments — quick glimpses of bears in the wild that reminded me I’m sharing their playground. Safe? Sometimes. Thrilling? Always. Worth it? Absolutely.
