CURRENT MISSION

We've been living in Hamburg for some time now, with some breaks for shorter and longer travels. Now our focus is on a bit more long term plans so we'll be staying where we arenow for a bit longer.

ABOUT ME

Positive, honest and openminded married Poles - Filip & Basia. We've quit our corporate life some years ago and took off from Poland directly to NZ where we lived for a year. Since then, we've been to Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Spain.

PHILOSOPHY

We love to travel and we're trying to live our lives as a one big adventure. Always work to live, never live to work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

a lot of places and people with many happy moment and some occasional disappointments. This community started with a great idea to enjoy the full local travel experience which is far more then just having a bed and roof over your head. Sadly it's already spoiled by many people who are not using it for meeting other people and cultures, but just for the economical or sexual factor. This is why we're using this tool less and less often. We are aware though that there are still plenty of places where the great primary idea of CS is being kept as a priority. And for those great people we're still here.

Our music favourites would be ranging from old school jazz, soul, funky, through classical music to some hip-hop, r'n'b, rock up to House and drum'n'base with some pieces os Metal ;) and much much more which depends on the day, mood and circumstances

Books: based on facts, travel literature as well as fantasy or poetry.

Movies: The Goodfather, The Intouchables, Watchmen, The Grand Budapest Hotel (and many other Wes Anderson movies), Dallas Buyers Club, The Lego movie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, What do we do in the Shadows, Lost in Translation, ...

TV series: The Wire, Luther, True Detective, Fargo, Narcos, New Girl, Homeland,...
favourite tv series: band of brothers, game of thrones, grey's anatomy, californication, suits and few others
