ABOUT ME

I am student from town, located in west part of Czech Republic. I am studying at faculty of business administration at University of economics in Prague. I like numerous activities such as sports (football, cycling, snowboarding), watching movies, listening music or travelling. And because i know how expensive travelling is, I think idea of CS is brilliant not only because of cheap travelling, but mainly because of meeting local people, exploring their habits and sharing experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First time I've heard about couchsurfing was couple of years ago in some traveler's testimony and idea of CS really inspired me so I singed in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really think that traveling via couchsurfing is the best way how to travel. I mainly surfed so far. I surfed two couches in Italy at 2010 and then about two weeks all around UK in summer 2011. And I had only positive experiences, all people who hosted me was very kind and nice to me, and I hope I made some new friends. What is the best thing on couchsurfing is sharing and exploring new cultures. I really love chats with our couchsurfing host, when we talk about our country, theirs country and enjoying time together.

Interests

I really like sports. Mainly cycling, indoor football, basketball, beach volleyball and snowboarding in winter. My next interest is watching football matches, I support English team Liverpool FC for couple of years. I also like drink a few beers with my friends and play football or cards. Travelling is my another passion, I like to see places where I have never been, especially if I meet local people and explore how they live and what are theirs habits and so on.

I like lot of kinds of movies - action, sci-fy, comedies, westerns..

My favorite tv shows are: It crowd, Black books, Coupling, How not to live your life, Yes minister, Misfits, Hustle, Fawlty towers, Futurama, Simpsons, Star gate, Friends, How i met your mother

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 5 months in Hong Kong on my exchange and I absolutely love that city. It also helped me to visit other amazing countries in Asia. I've done hiking on un-restored parts of The great wall of China, rice terraces of Banaue in Philippines or trekking at Sapa in Vietnam. It's hard to choose just one amazing thing so I would say traveling is one amazing thing I've done.
