About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life is just another exciting plot line

ABOUT ME

I am a young woman interested in seeing the world and understanding it better. I pursue this in academic ways but also find travelling to be a part of it.

I am Portuguese but I moved to Norway for two years to attend an international school (RCNUWC). Continuing on the path of scholarships I am currently studying in Vancouver and discovering the American continent.

I take interest in many things (see section further down) and I am a calm, yet outgoing, sort of person. I like to enjoy full days and I easily adapt to most lifestyles.

I am quite talkative and truly enjoy sharing stories and experiences accross countries and cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I just try to make life a nice story worth telling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was very interested when some of my friends started using it. Then I couchsurfed in Portland and San Francisco. Both were great experiences, even more interesting than I expected! I continued doing it while travelling in Canada. I find that couchsurfing is a great way to connect with people from the places you visit. It brings in a different dimension of travelling, in my opinion, a most important one.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies. I watch too many to select some. Good cinema is one of the most supreme pleasures of life, that is all I can say.

Music: a bit of everything. I listen to a lot of 60's rock/pop/blues. Jazz, some other folk/rock'n roll things.

And books: most of what I read is Philosophy material, because of my academics. I enjoy it a great deal. Outside that, I could list Eça de Queiroz, Salinger, Poe, Kerouac, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Jim Morrison. Those are some that come to mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stared at a completely still fjord in Norway with some of the best people I've ever met and knew that I was happy and totally content.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you a lot about Portugal, some topics of Philosophy and teach how to knit.
