About Me
Hi, I'm Filipe, born in the southwest corner of Portugal about 30 years ago.
I studied to be a product designer but i also value matter in its natural state.
Nowadays I've been trying to diverge from the computer and apply the knowledge and methodologies I received in school to eco/social conscious projects.
After 10 years of living, studying and working in Lisbon it became clear that I wanted a slower pace in my life, with free time to spend as it feels right, closer to nature. Dreaming of a place in the countryside, with a little of land around which i could work, one opportunity arose and became my personal project from the last years: to rehabilitate my grandparents place in Aljezur, which was decaying, and call it home.
It will be my pleasure to welcome you to this place!
Now, after a few years of enjoying the place, the opportunity arose to travel around America for some months, to breathe different air, get inspiration from people and projects, to enjoy and grow!

Music, Movies, and Books
a LOT of music, from folk to experimental electronic music...
I guess it depends on the days/mood!
Also many movies, hard to mention a few.
The last one I saw that I really felt engaged was Anomalisa.
The Doors of Perception, by Aldous Huxley, is definitely one of them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking around with flip-flops in the Moroccan desert, at 1pm on an August day, could be considered amazing-ly stupid!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help on house/garden duties.
I can prepare vegetarian meals.
I can be a good listener and like to talk about life, love, society, ...
It all depends on the way it flows.
