Overview
About Me
I have an endless curiosity for discovering new stuff and learning throughout my journeys. I am passionate about music, literature and extreme sports, but also about less extravagant activities such as walking, listening to the landscape and having face-to-face conversations, with or without alcohol.
Having been born on a small island of the Atlantic Ocean, my perception of the world's dimensions was surrounded and limited by the sea, but it has been expanding as I travel, as well as my curiosity about the world we live in. At the present moment, I live in Kraków, Poland, after having lived in Lisbon, Aberdeen (Scotland) and Barcelona. I studied social anthropology and I am working as a translator and teacher of Portuguese.
My future plans include starting a farm and a guesthouse in my hometown next year and to travel as much as I can before that season. I am looking forward to meeting people with whom I can share thoughts and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that Couchsurfing is a brilliant platform for sharing your place with others and to meet people with completely different backgrounds. Even though I didn't need to use it many times during the 3 years I have been registered in it, I really appreciate its potentials and I intend to host as many people as I can as soon as I have the proper conditions.
