About Me

Well, I am just getting to know the world of "couchsurfing" and I like the idea of getting to know people all over the world and sharing experiences.

Basically I work with clinical psychology (neurofeedback) and I also give classes on a university here in Brasília. I had my master´s degree on psychology of religion, studying the senses of the experience with ayahuasca.

I have a son, that can be seen in the picture, but I am not married. I am pretty much interested in spirituality and meditation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make new friends around the globe, to exchange and to enrich my life with other experiences!

Interests

I´ve been studying a lot recently, but I like to go to the nature, playing with my son, spiritual practices (I have definitely been on a long spiritual path) , watching movies and documentaries, listening to music, swimming, camping and ballroom dancing. I like nature and spiritual practices like yoga, meditation, singing bhajjans, and others. I love going to rivers and waterfalls. I am also interested in permaculture, ecovillage and shamanism.

But I can also enjoy going out for a beer, dancing and having a nice chat... =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many brazilian musicians, but I also like rock, house, hip hop and new age. To give a few examples I like Coldplay, Pearl Jam, U2, Rihana, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry, Bob Sinclair, Alanis, Counting Crows, Evanescence, Eminem, 50 cents, Puff Daddy, Miten and Deva Prema, Krishna Das and many many others...

Many wonderful movies I have watched... I loved Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, Inception, The Sixth Sense, The others, and so many more.

And also many wonderful documentaries, such as: The living matrix, What the bleep do we know, DMT - The spiritual molecule, The nature of existence, Zeitgeit´s trilogy, Fed up, Food matters, The Gerson´s Miracle, The age of stupid, Inside Job, and many more.

I´ve been reading basically a lot of technical books from psychology (Wilhelm Reich, Peter Levine, Bessel van der Colk, Stephen Porges) and spiritual literature (Osho, Eckhart Tolle, Jean Ives Leloup, Projectiology). But I also enjoyed reading Dan Brown´s book and Irvin D. Yalom, for instance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hang gliding, scuba diving in the sea looking for shipwreck, rafting in Ganges, experiences with ayahuasca. I´ve also been to Maha Kumbha Mela (India 2013) and have met three enlightened spiritual masters (satsangs) and experienced "The path of love" process in Poona (India). All of these were awesome!
