Hello everybody :) My name is Filipp Sokolovski, I am 21 years old and I am a medical student from Austria. I was born in Russia, but I live in Austria for 17 years now - I raised up and live in Vöcklabruck, Austria and since 2014 I study medicine in Innsbruck, Austria. I love to travel, to explore new countries and cultures, to read, to learn languages, to do sports and to enjoy good food.

to learn new people and new cultures - I think, nothing is more authentical than exploring a country with locals. Besides, I had a really good experience with a couchsurfing-host in Zurich, Switzerland, that's why I am really convinced couchsurfing is a great opportunity to have a great journey:)

My philosophy of life is "you'll never walk alone" - some of you will know this sentence from the football club Liverpool F.C. For me, this sentence has a deeper meaning. I think and I also experienced it myself in my life, that no matter in which situation you are right now, there will always be people that share their path with you - and for me that's a really great thing. Maybe some day also you will go a bit of my path of life with me :)

I love to talk and debate about all imaginable and non-imaginable things in life - science, politics, art, food, languages, cultures, philosophy. Everything is possible :) I am really talkative and I like to tell stories about me and my live and I am also really interested in the views and stories of the others because I think we can learn a lot from each others. Other people describe me as a social, open-minded, extrovert people which has a good sense of humor and laughs a lot. I would love to have a good conversation with you! :)

Also of course I can teach you some German or Russian if you want to :)
