Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm an italian materials engineer, working in the luxury field. I just started to use Couchsurfing
I was born and raised in Udine, in the north-east of Italy, close to the border with Austria and Slovenia.
I have spent 3 and a half years abroad, between Japan (1 year) and Switzerland (2 1/2 years) before coming back to Italy for work.
I've tried different sports (football, tennis, rowing,..), learnt to play (bad) different instruments (piano, flute, saxophone) and overall I am always curious to learn new things!
I enjoy a good book or a nice movie, as well as a good puzzle or a nice board game with friends and I try hard to detox from my smartphone, which I realize was taking too much of my attention
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel on my own and Couchsurfing is perfect to allow me to do that while still meeting people and living the life of the city from a citizen perspective.
I can save some money too for activities during the day and night, obviously that's not bad either!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked the 200 km of river Tagliamento, near my hometown, in 4 days. To be fair, I was 16 & dumb. Wouldn't/couldn't do it now, but at the time it was a real adventure!
Or, I made a 5000 pieces puzzle only to realize at the end that 1 piece was missing. So I actually made a 4999 pieces puzzle.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have plenty of stories from my trips, I can share my (not overdeveloped) italian cuisine expertise, and I would gladly share a drink and a nice chat with anybody!
