Hi, I'm Filippo, I'm 20 and I've been studying Mathematics at university for a year by now; although I find it really fascinating, I have to admit it's very tough so, as soon as the summer vacation comes, I can't wait to go somewhere far from here!

I subscribed Couchsurfing because I think being hosted by someone living in the country/city you're visiting is a much better alternative than looking for a hotel: I find captivating the idea of being suggested about places to visit and main attraction by people who know best the places you're visiting, and also it could be interesting sharing ideas and opinions with people of different cultures and different minds!

Mi sono iscritto perché trovo che l'idea di Couchsurfing sia una fantastica alternativa al viaggio in albergo/ostello: trovo molto più intrigante il pensiero di essere ospitato da una persona del luogo che vado a visitare, a cui chiedere consigli sul da farse, suggerimenti riguardo i luoghi meno turistici, e avere un assaggio di vita locale!

Indie music is my true love; I like very very much listening to live music in pubs/clubs, and discovering new local underground musicians. Anyway, I'm open to almost every genre of music.
My favourite bands: Gorillaz, Foster the People, Superorganism, MGMT...

Favourite film: "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain". I admit love comedy is the genre I like the most.

Favourite book: "Fish Have No Feet" by Jón Kalman Stefánsson.

I saw the sunrise lighting up Barcelona from the top of Parc Güell; I saw Yann Tiersen's concert at the Ancient Port of Genoa and behind the stage ships were sailing!

I'm totally available to teach you all the Italian you need, but above all... the Italian gestures!
I also know how to play the keyboards and some chords on ukulele, so if there's any chance to do it we can have a jam session together! Anyway I'm really passionate about music, so I can share my favorite bands' music with you and make you know Italian good music.
