Why I’m on Couchsurfing

✨ My girlfriend and I are traveling the world with just one euro in our pockets, relying not on money but on kindness, stories, and human connection. We’re two young souls with a big dream - to see the world, connect with new people, and experience cultures firsthand.

We’ve left behind our jobs, our homes, and definitely our comfort zones to set out on a long journey across the globe. But how do you travel without savings?! That’s exactly the point, we’re doing it with just one euro in our pockets! 🤯 Documenting our journey in a video series that highlights how open, generous, and welcoming people are across different cultures and countries💥

🙏We want to show that even from a small country like Latvia🇱🇻, the courage to dream big and take bold steps exists. With nothing but pure energy, trust in humanity, and the joy of youth, we’ve thrown ourselves into the unknown, without knowing what the next day will bring.

This adventure is not just about seeing the world, but it’s also about experiencing it through the eyes of others😊 We want to use Couchsurfing to meet locals, share stories, learn about new ways of life, and build meaningful connections along the way. Music, Movies, and Books

It’s hard to say what my favorite type of music would be, because it is always different depending on my mood, but my favorite group is The 1975. I absolutely love indie music, rock, as well as Hip-Hop🎶

My favorite movie is “Inception”, because of the way how you can always watch it and see something different, something more by each time. It makes me feel like there is something more that meets the eye, even when you have experienced it before. I’m also a big fan of creative storytelling, especially when it shows different ways of thinking about life 📲

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gave a homeless person one of their best days in their lives by spending a full day with them, going on a car ride, buying fresh clothes, eating national food together, going on a ship cruise at the coast of Daugava, as well as watching a hockey game where Latvia played at Riga’s Old Town Square, as well as of course had deep talks about his whole situation, people around us and life itself✨
