About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Answering when the unknown is calling me.

ABOUT ME

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tejkhFyjoGE

I like to think the only difference between fiction and reality is that reality does not have to make sense. I like not making sense. I love going out, breaking habits, trying out new behaviours. Couchsurfing is most certainly one of them. I enjoy meeting not only new people and cultures but also thinking patterns and social context of the specific area. Talking to people gives me a more general perspective of the world today. I am absolutely sure that zeitgeist is easier to discover in nightlife

Since I've read "Unbearable lightness of being" by Milan Kundera, I determined two main goals in life - to travel and to write. In my mind, it is a straightforward concept - I will spend my lifetime living in various cities and writing about them.

Street art is my newest obsession so I am really looking forward to exploring graffiti wherever I am travelling. I am a co-creator of a street art project Inspektor Yoda, a dog character whose thoughs on various cultural and sexual stigmas are written all over the walls of Belgrade. Belgrade is a conservative, heteronormative city so I have found street art as a suitable platform for starting a dialogue and upheaving the current status quo. Ok, now I am getting boring... :)

PHILOSOPHY

Be the person you needed when you were a child.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a wonderful first couchsurfing experience in New York back in 2011. I was young and a bit sceptical before I have tried it, but now I can not imagine a better way to travel and indulge myself into the unknown culture. I am always open for another adventure and good conversation with another good soul of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Never had a Facebook account.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a serbian technique for overcoming hangover.

I would say I have the ability to deconstruct reality, to talk about music, books, philosophy and psychology but with a fun discourse so that people are not bored with it :)

Sharing is caring.

I want to learn more.
