ABOUT ME

Fiona:
I'm a friendly and sociable person who genuinely enjoys meeting new people and tends to see the best in them. I've always wanted to travel and see the world and teaching English appealed for that reason - being able to live in a place and experience it fully. I'm interested in yoga, people, reading, cooking, learning new languages, nature, hiking and travel. I would also love to write children's stories one day and would like to learn more about photography and massage. I'm a curious soul and I like to have a go at most things. At an early age I decided on three ambitions: to do a skydive (achieved last year..desperate to do another!), see the Amazon (was lucky enough to achieve this in March but still love to go back for longer), and drive on a Harley at dawn on a straight empty road in Idaho.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're relative newcomers to couchsurfing but have had great experiences so far. We joined not long before we were setting off travelling so have only hosted once, although once we get settled in South Korea, we'd love to host again.
We had the opportunity to be guests in Bolivia and met some wonderful people that way, as well as meeting other couchsurfers for coffee occasionally.
In South Korea, I'm keen to participate in group events too and see couchsurfing as an excellent way to make new friends in a new place.
