About Me

CURRENT MISSION

People often ask me why I do the things I do (ie: mountaineer, triathlons, marathons, ultramarathons) and I answer: "Because I can"

ABOUT ME

Well I'm 5 foot 3 and like Mohammed Ali
I float like a butterfly and sting like poison ivy

PHILOSOPHY

I like long walks in the white mountains during the winter, poetry, romantic movies and poking dead things with sticks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever seen was my grandmother cooking dinner every night for her 10 children and 9 grandchildren and not having the slightest bit of negative energy when doing so. Not one day did she wish to not be cooking but to be sitting down and relaxing, she was such an amazing caring person, the best person in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I was working retail my manager once told me that a co-worker said "john could sell water to the ocean"..

Apparently I have quite the ability to convince people to do things, generally things that benefit them as I am not one to convince people to do something that they would not like/want. last summer I convinced a childhood friend who didn't even own a bike to cycle across the united states (3800 miles in 38 days).. it was the adventure of a lifetime for him.. maybe I can convince you to do the same?

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Tanzania

Countries I’ve Lived In
