Main reason is couch surfing cuts down the accommodation cost, it also give a friendly atmosphere in any new place if visit. In case if I'm hosting then it helps me to know someone new and get to know their experience overall. We can feel a friendly and safety environment while staying in couch surfing members houses it brings the same home experience.
