I travelled a lot before kids, "settled down" (haha!) with kids, and now I'm in my 'post kids era' am starting to travel again. I'm a teacher in a Steiner Waldorf school in the north of England, live in a hectic household which I love, have loads of interests and hobbies, love animals (especially my dog!) and being in nature.

These things depend a lot on my mood. I like lots of kinds of music, including joni mitchell, folk, reggae

My favourite films are ones which make me think - eg I just discovered The Crying Game. I particularly like comedies which make me think as well.

Books - well loads, I love The Book Thief, anything by Philip Pullman or Rose Tremain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been followed by the KGB in old Soviet Russia!
Oh and as of this afternoon, been on a terrifying jetski ride at the age of 60!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching, learning and sharing!! I can teach craft type activities or language skills, and tell stories...I love to learn about people as well as learning new skills...always!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I wish I could say I was an amazing cook but really, all I can say is I've never poisoned anyone!! I can share a sense of humour as well as an interest in talking about philosophical and spiritual ideas...and of course I can share a willingness to help you in any way I can - both practically, eg with garden or domestic chores and emotionally, with an empathic ear!
