Hello! I’m a Singaporean undergraduate student currently on a year abroad in England. My degree is in Geography and what better way to learn but from learning from the world itself. 🌏

I love meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and finding out how big the world can get. It constantly amazes me how diverse cultures can be in the best ways possible. Although Singapore (where I am from) is a pretty cosmopolitan place, it is very small so the types of people I get to meet is limited. 👥

I have loved travelling around South East Asia and other parts of Asia but this year is my year to explore the rest of the world! ✈️ Hope you will be a part of my journey!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

This is the year I told myself to push my comfort zones and meet new people. I love travelling but am tired of the simplified tourist experiences tourism boards present to the world. I would like to learn the culture and lifestyles of people abroad so don’t mind if I usually request for more than a night stay 😅

兴趣

Food, art, nature and good hearty conversations. These are the things that keep me going on a daily basis. Growing up in Singapore, you get to taste great food from different cultures every day and it’s no wonder I grow up to be a foodie. Unfortunately, it took me a while to be motivated to cook so I am still learning the ropes of cooking Singaporean/ various Asian cuisines. 🍲🍜🥘

I do love the outdoors, a luxury we don’t quite have in Singapore. I’m used to seeing towering skyscrapers and am looking for a reaching change of mountains.

If you know of great nature trails or have food to recommend, I’m sure we will get on great 😊
