ABOUT ME

I'm a global mutt and a TCK, and love meeting others with a similar mindset (like my husband who I met through Couchsurfing 8 years ago, so we both know we're on the same page with life). I love learning from people, chilling in the sunshine, people watching, great food and great drinks, and getting to know the local side of any given place. I've been on couch surfing for years now, love the mission and the culture and the sort of people who love the mission and the culture. Can't wait to meet more of you!

Have been limited in being able to host in my home, but have shown a lot of people around my respective towns...

too much too much, i'm a complete book worm but can't sit still if there is anything with a decent beat or trumpets playing. I love books with dry, sarcastic humour (Gerald Durrell, E.M. Forster, Hunter Thompson) with amazing words (Shakespeare, Pablo Neruda)and that shift the way you see the world around you (Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchet) and love anything you can dance to (Salsa, Tango, Cumbia, Celtic etc) anything with awesome lyrics, and when genres get remixed to make something new and wonderful.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

hmmm...got stranded on Uruapan Volcano, drove from Kampala to Kigali and back, helped refurbish the Camino de Santiago in Spain, built a house in a week with Habitat for Humanity in New Jersey, hiked Gros Morne in Newfoundland, visited Tierra del Fuego in Chile, ate a goats testicle (in all fairness I thought it was dog)....looking to add to the list...
