About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Solo tripping around South America
ABOUT ME
Hello CS community - what a great place this is to be! What a great concept CS is - it's the essence of what travel is all about - sharing life, stories, laughs, kindness, curiosity and generosity with our fellow humans.
While I have travelled to many wonderful places in my life thus far, I am about to embark on what I believe will be the trip of a lifetime. South America has been in my dreams for years and now is the right time for me to be here :)
PHILOSOPHY
Everything in it's right place :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I am travelling solo I hope to be able to meet up with lots of locals and fellow trippers to share some of the experiences with. I have couch-surfed in Canada back in 2005 but not since then and I looking forward to getting connected again with the community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately I have not yet been in a living/life situation where I have been able to host back home in Australia. Mainly due to who I was living with and my full time study load and 3 different jobs all happening at the same time.
Interests
I like working hard when I need to, enjoying myself when I'm due, getting out on weekends, camping, hiking, triathlons, FOOD ;), liking who I am, always be grateful for what I have in life, taking and making opportunities happen, anything to do with the water, giving and caring, dress up parties and the challenge of balance in a busy, full life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading: The Social Animal by David Brooks; The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende; and Open Veins of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano.
Like all sorts of movies: especially one that move me and offer beautiful stories of life and human emotions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving with manta rays and whales sharks in Mozambique :)
Teach, Learn, Share
“The greatest wisdom is in simplicity. Love, respect, tolerance, sharing, gratitude, forgiveness. It's not complex or elaborate. The real knowledge is free. It's encoded in your DNA. All you need is within you. Great teachers have said that from the beginning. Find your heart, and you will find your way.”
Carlos Barrios, Mayan elder and Ajq'ij of the Eagle Clan
