About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying life. Writing, getting to know new people, theater.

ABOUT ME

Hello!

After long studies, work and art-projects&projects, I decided that this was not all life could bring. So I traveled for 7 months and lived in Jordan, Israel/ Westjordanland, Nepal and India. Through Couchsurfing I met many wonderful people there! After that I lived on the countryside in Bavaria, worked with children and teenagers, doing art and theater projects or supporting social workers. Some time ago I decided to move back to Leipzig - the city where I went to university and that my heart belongs to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share an apartement with two friends, and unfortunately at the moment there is no possibility for me to host guests. But I could show you around Leipzig, and tell you about this city that I love very much and no know for ten years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was allowed to stay in a cottage in the mountains in India,
and through couchsurfing I met an extremly friendly young man in Nepal, that allowed me to stay for a month and introduced me to his wonderful family. These are just some highlights, as I would say every place I stayed was special, the people were friendly and I am very thankful for the time we shared.

Interests

I enjoy walking around, watching people in the streets. I really enjoy to be in this city and to discover more of it, every day. I like to climb trees, put my hands into mud, pick vegetables and fruit, to cook. I like to read and write.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for two weeks on a organic farm in the Bavarian Forest last summer. The people I worked with were wonderful and I learned a lot from them. It was very hot, very sunny, we had about 9 hours of sun on our skin every day, and in the nights I just fell over and slept like a baby. There I really got to know the "character" of tomato plants, and how to care for them. When my job there was over, for a whole night I cooked kilos and kilos of tomato-sauce and put it into glasses - some of it i still have in a box under my bed and whenever I open one of the glasses, I can smell and taste this summer.
