About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life to the absolute fullest, enjoy it and learn from it day after day

ABOUT ME

I like to enjoy life to the fullest, meet up with friends, meeting new people from all over the world, have real encounters. I like to go out, listen to live music (especially small bands). I love it when things are'nt all planned out. When you don't plan things too much you leave an opening for spontanious wonders to happen. (it happened to me a lot I may gratefully say)
I just graduated, I 'm officially a primary school teacher:). Right now I work with disabled children which I really enjoy and at the end of august I will start my first job as a teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way

Interests

When I'm not working I like to go for a run, hang out with friends or go to the beach (even if the sun is not shining, which is often the case here in Holland)for it gives me such a good feeling just being there. I'm almost always listening to music, I read a lot of books and in the winter I like to go skiing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most special places I've ever visited is Newgrange in Ireland. Amazing what people built there over 5000 years ago. At the end of the small path in this dark tumulus was sort of an altar built. Only five times per year (around the winter solstice) when the sun rises it shines through an small opening above the entrance directly on to the altar stone inside!

In New Zealand I went swmimming with wild dusky dolphins in the open sea. It felt really special and magical to meet these wonderful animals. They were so playful and beautiful. I cannot describe the feeling it gave me.. Well, it was bsolutely wonderful :)
