CURRENT MISSION
See the world, meet new friends. To learn a lot!
ABOUT US
We are Fiorella and Carlos, a spanish couple from Barcelona currently living in Santiago de Chile. I (Fiorella, better known as Fio, as shorter and easier;)) am a graphic designer and was born in Santiago de Chile, and Carlos studied tourism and business administration and he is a native from Barcelona, Spain. We knew each other in Barcelona 10 years ago and got married on 2009 in Chile. We both love travelling, reading, sports and music, and of course, meeting new people and friends around the world. That's why we started receiving couchsurfers in our place in Barcelona. The experience so far has been amazing, because we have so much to learn about other cultures and we really enjoy sharing our beloved Barcelona with foreigners.
So, as people we knew told us histories about their countries of about their travelling, we decided one day that we should make a break in our lives and discover the world with our own eyes but this time with no rushes or defined dates, and we finally began this amazing trip in Duesseldorf in June 2015.
Our trip itinerary for the moment is the following: Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, United States, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Chile, Australia, Southeast Asia, China and Japan. I know there are a lot of countries missing but is a good itinerary for one year of travelling.
We don't know yet our final destination place to establish ourselves...we are really hoping this trip give us the answer. All suggestions are more tan welcome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As we've travelled so much, we've seen a lot of amazing things, a neverending night in the arctic circle, the most astonishing landscapes in Norway, the world's most dry desert in Chile, the friendly and happy people of Brasil, a dreamlike blue lagoon in Iceland, cities built on volcanic remains in Greece, the history of ancient cultures in Italy, and the list goes on and on... Oh! and very important: I've run a marathon, something I never thought it would be possible for me ;)
