My name is Jo and I'm an artist!!! I'm an extroverted introvert, and a very friendly, positive person. I also love to help out, so don't be surprised if I ask to do your dishes. I went to college in Savannah, GA., and hail from North Aurora, IL., and Sayner, WI.. I grew up sort of groundlessly, going between my moms house, my dads house, and college-land eventually. So, I am used to traveling a lot. I enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people!!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am on couch surfing because I want to see new cities in different parts of the country and learn about them from locals.

Interessen

I love animals and nature and enjoy them as subjects in my art.

My mother is a music educator, so I have a natural interest in music-- if you want to sing or jam together, I would be totally interested!!
I'm a pretty big story-head and I always like to meet other writers and story artists.
Fine art and illustration holds a certain poetic space in my heart.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music--
I love classical music, and grew up playing saxophone in band, marching band and jazz band (BAND NERD FOR LIFE!!). I love just about anything that has a great melody and evokes an emotional response. Music is just fun. I also love 8-bit music and other electronically generated tunes.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I don't think I've done anything particularly amazing, but I am proud of my artistic progress. I guess that makes me a big art nerd! One time I also fed a flock of deer from my hands-- That was a pretty cool experience.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can give you some drawing lessons or do a caricature of you!!!! I draw everywhere I go and find that my drawings are more memorable than any photo that I could take. Also, If you're a musician, we could have a jam session. (I know like 500 Elizabethan love songs on my tenor recorder, if you're into that. Though, I'm not really sure anyone else is except for me and my mother, lol)
