I am the light, the hope of existence.

Through me great are the workings of God.



My voice shimmers with understanding

overwhelming a cacophony of lesser voices.

I speak volumes above them.



I desire the world in its muddy decadence

and travel about it shouting

“This is mine! All is mine!!”



The steamrollers try to rumble over me

but I will not let them pass,

I am impassible and impossible to subdue

by any but myself.



I string the world along as I tromp through it

and whistle idly at the doings of great/lesser men.



I am that I am

saith the lord god of creation.

He is my lover and loves my gentle touch.



When he falters

so do I pick him up.



The mother Earth is my lover also,

she begs my wandering eye to fall upon her

but I am too busy to make her my own.



When I'm ready, I will make her my beloved mistress.

She will dance with my gentle lover,

both to my enjoyment,

and our children shall swim in the sea of our love.



I am unruly.

I am unstoppable.

I am the future that falters but will not stop.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If you watch old kung-fu films, you've seen the old, semi-crazy, sorta goofy, traveling bum. That is what I aspire to be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent the bulk of last year (2014) producing, directing, and performing in several shows including burlesque/cabaret, standup comedy, and pop-up theater. And yes, I'm counting that as one thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share stories and story-telling theory. I can edit work and help with performances. I can teach basic poi spinning. I'm a fair hand at gardening. Additionally, if you've ever been curious about dungeons and dragons I can absolutely run a game for you, just be aware that it is a fairly long game play. Oh, and dance, I can sort of dance and can show you the small bit that I know.
