COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met the most awesome people in Greece. They were so friendly, hospitable and caring. People I'd never met before giving me the keys to their apartment...just blows you away. Because I was travelling solo in mostly untouristic spots, these couchsurfers totally enriched my experiences.

I love travel, new experiences, getting off-the-beaten-track, great food, great friends, quirky cinema and being around like-minded people.

I struggle with Hollywood rubbish - unimaginative plots and poorly-shot rubbish for consumption by the masses. Movies like Pi and Requiem for a Dream impressed me but haven't seen anything lately that blew me away. Not into the Top 40. Recently been enjoying The Go! Team, Afro-Celt Sound System and Moloko. Love reading but seldom have the time in Sydney. Reading a book called "Blink" at the moment which is about thinking without actuall thinking...fascinating stuff.

I have been fortunate to see and experiences many things and nature on a grand scale always impresses me, but seeing the northern lights flying over the arctic circle from USA to Ireland blew my hair back the most.
