Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I'll watch pretty much anything but horror films, or intense graphic action movies.
Music: I have a relatively diverse taste. I recently got into acoustic guitar music and love Antoine Dufour, Erik Mongrain, and Andy McKee. I love listening to dance music - anything I can dance to is awesome. Artist-wise, I like: The All American Rejects, The Sex Pistols, The Strokes, Chicago, Hall and Oats, Breaking Benjamin, Early Metallica, Michelle Branch, so much more, and anything I can sing along to (as I love to sing). I enjoy playing music, and play guitar, clarinet, am out of practice but can still bang out some notes on the piano, and am currently taking up the ukulele. Music = BIG part of my life.
Books: I'll try anything out, really.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Attempted to surf in Hawaii - I discovered a whole new sense of balance, a whole new set of muscles, and a whole new meaning to the word "seasick." I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT AGAIN!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can show you a few chords on the guitar, if I have mine with me.
Learn: I would love to learn some more phrases in German.
Share: I've lived in a lot of places in the United States - the South, the west coast, somewhat in the midwest, grew up on a farm/ranch, but also have lived in a bigger city working on the 38th floor of a building downtown. I can tell you anything you want to know about the U.S. culture! Except New York...Never been there...It's on my list.
