About Me

Well. I'm a semi-introvert programmer from Oslo.

I'm fairly relaxed and chilled, preferring not to cause or experience too much fuzz. I have a friendly disposition, perhaps a bit shy and socially awkward with strangers, but that all depends on the dynamic.
In everyday life I tend to be occupied with work, and when not working I tend to try my best to do as little as possible. Sensibly lazy, you might call me.

PS: Unfortunately, due to the Corona emergency, I'm not accepting guests at this time

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having my own home now, I find that it's a nice thing to be able to share it occasionally with weary travelers who need a place to put their head.

Being somewhat new to living entirely by myself (having lived with friends before), maybe somebody might teach me a thing or two about normal living-alone activities such as cooking or putting up a picture on the wall.

Interests

Well. I like being creative, but I don't really have a solid creative outlet that I'm any good in. It doesn't help that I'm also a huge procrastinator and easily get tired of my own ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

As for movies, the best movie ever is Magnolia (1999). A wonderful three hour mishmash of people with intense emotional issues that culminates in strange weather phenomenas and a song number. It really is an amazing movie.

As for books, I don't read nearly as much as I should, not really having the patience for it. But crime novels from Jo Nesbø is a favourite.

As for music, I mainly listen to think in or close to the rock-genre. But really, all genres have some good music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was around 10, I did amateur theatre and my performance got rave reviews from the local newspapers.
Needless to say, things just went downhill from then!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll be happy to show you around the city! But then I'm pretty easily confused geographically speaking, so I'll probably get us lost. Hey, I've just lived here three years. Give me a break!

I'm always up for political discussions (constructive ones), discussing philosophy, worldviews, and so on. These things interest me greatly!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself a friendly and relaxed host who'll happily share a philosophical, religious or political debate where mutual respect is in focus. Other than that I'm very fond of watching movies or tv-shows, especially with other people.

I'll be happy to show you around Oslo, although knowing myself, I'm a somewhat relaxed fellow, so I might not partake in everything you do. As for generally being social, I swap between very social and perhaps needing a bit of quiet alone-time. Hopefully you're a person who both wants to get acquainted, and doesn't mind being left to entertain yourself at times!
