I try to just be very positive person spreading happiness and love around me:) I am very much into sports (dragon boats, crossfit, now learning to surf!) and bodywork at all (yoga, dancing, CI). My educaion story is pretty funny cause I graduated two faculties at University of Technology, became an 100% engineer and then decided, after several years, that it's boring, restrictive and totally not for me. Started looking for something inspiring in life, looking for freedom, for some spiritual vent. So I started my own hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui massage practice, meeting my need of giving and caring, finding a way to share with people my life wisdom and also learning the same from them. Hawaiian massage is a special experience, it's a holistic work with body, mind and soul and it changes lifes. It changed mine :) I am very into personal and spiritual growth, I try to be better and smarter every day, mostly led by hawaiian philosophy of life.
But don't be fooled by my "calm and spiritual" way of life! In general I can call myself (a liiiittle*) freaky:) I have many days in life such "let's do something crazy". I am a very active person, I love to dance like madman, I take off my clothes in the middle of the night and go swimming in the sea, I sing all night to the guitar, I go out in the rain and jump into the plash, travel a lot, eat strange stuff or maybe make some spontaneous tattoo :) ... and I actually smile all the time, cause that's how I was born - smiley :)))) And it's so healthy!!! But gives me wrinkles, but nevermind.
*that's the version for fearful;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People are the essence of life. They are around us all the time and influence our every day. You can say that people are sentenced to the people:)
Take advantage of it - try to meet a lot of different, interesting people and take as much experience as you can from meeting them. I like to know other cultures and how people live in different places, it's very inspiring! And I just like to know new people, learn from them, find inspiration in their life stories. Being both a host and a guest gives me an opportunity to share my passions with others and make friends all around the world:) Attention! - I host only good people:)
Soooo many!... sports and general work with the body and active life, massage and spirituality, social activity, traveling, dancing and singing, reading books and watching movies, cooking (and eating of course!), spending time with friends and partying. And mostly - enjoying freedom...
- massage therapy
- contact improvisation
- dragon boats
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - in this the subject I am very open minded in. I like GOOD music, no matter of the genre. I enjoy listening as well jazz and classical music as electronical, hard rock and psychodelic. Music is a very important part of my life. It helps me in bad moments, it enhances good moments. It makes me dance. And dancing is the best way to release all the tensions, to show emotions, to be human in pure form.
Books and movies - both - I love to read and watch all kinds of literature (movies) except fantasy. I'm fond of serious, heavy, psychological, philosophical, drama literature, but also love to read or watch light and pleasant comedies. I also read a lot of subjects as personal development, spirituality, healing, hawaiian philosophy and way of life, eastern philosophy etc. I'm able to read 3 or 4 books at a time, having one near bed, one in my bag, one on the table in the living room... Depends on my mood which one I'm reading at the moment:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I gave up my boring life and left my comfort zone - started fulfilling dreams and... living in a dream:) And I'm still on this way... :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I have any free time during my guests visit I'm glad to share my time for talks, sightseeing, cooking, sharing experiences... Or just sitting together in silence :)
