ABOUT ME

I grew up in a large-ish family (five siblings) and if that wasn't enough the house was also peopled with other family members/friends/lodgers - and the odd waif and stray - most of the time. Now, as my two children prepare to leave home, I realise that much of that has been re-created in our current home: we've often had 'other folk' living with us - still do - sometimes for a few days and sometimes for years!
Result? I'm easy-going, (not particularly house-proud) and if you Love music then you'll find me a very genial host.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly hosting! However, my daughter, Lil, has Couch Surfed around Europe - and now North America and Canada - I am forever in CS'rs debt!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Joined in June 2009 - and hosted a couple times in West Yorkshire. Now I'm in Bristol I'm getting loads more requests! I share the house with 2/3 other people - so will host when we can!

Stayed with a Tamil family in the Himalayas that was NOT an organised 'home stay'! Hiked to Kyanjin Gumpa in the Langtang. Hung out on Don Khone Island (beautiful!)...
