Save up money for a bike trip through France with my partner who will be walking from Sweden to Portugal starting in June!

My mission in life is to experience as much as possible. Throw myself out there, even if I'm scared. Always be open. To learn and grow.

ABOUT ME

My name is Anna, I'm 33 years old and currently living in Skellefteå, Sweden where I work as a receptionist. I'm an easygoing social butterfly who always looks on the bright side of life, who's a bit of a 'time optimist' (Swedish term for people who think that they have more time than they do haha) and a person in need of both crazy all nighters and tranquility.

I have previously lived in both Kamloops, Canada and Melbourne, Australia so if you need some tips on where to go, what to see etc - don't hesitate to ask!

My interests include: burlesque, dogs, wine, dance, travel, fishing, movies and conversation! I love to meet new people and talk about anything and everything!

I love meeting new people and share stories and experiences, learn and grow. I'm hoping to be of help for people traveling on a budget by offering either a bed, a shower, sightseeing tips, a coffee or a meal, all depending on my availability! I am also hoping to receive this help myself when I head out on my next trip.

Favourite movies: Love movies and watch way too many than I'd like to admit. Generally drawn to old school musicals, scary movies, sci-fi and animation - both Disney and anime, but like most genres! A few favourite movies are: Singing in the rain, The Artist, Star Wars, Spirited away, Anchorman, Boondock Saints...

A few of my favourite books: Shantaram, A child called it, The Alchemist, And I don't want to live this life, Love, eat, pray and The Power of Now. I like books that makes you think, question and wonder!

Favourite music: I listen to almost everything, from Abba to Sex Pistols! What I listen to depends much on how I'm feeling or what I am focused on at the moment, so I'm an extremely emotional listener. Currently this includes calmer, thoughtful, soulful music from 1950s jazz to more singer/songwriter stuff lilke Lion, Bear, Fox - my favourite live band!

Wow, so hard! A simple but beautiful experience that I'll always cherish was when me and my boyfriend went camping in the middle of nowhere in Canada. When night hit and with no ambient light to disturb the night sky, we had a perfectly clear view of the Milky Way... so there we lied, outside of our tent, drunk on love and wine, watching our galaxy in all its glory...

I can help you with both English and Swedish, teach you some basic burlesque moves and share life lessons and travel stories! I love to learn new things so I'm open to learn everything from specific skills such as cooking a wicked risotto or dancing the samba, to learn about new ideas, perspectives and experiences.
