About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world

PHILOSOPHY

What man is he, that does not make the world better? I don't know what the meaning of life is, but I'm working on it. I'm not really religious, but I have faith in humanity.

I want to live deliberately, I want to prove that I'm alive, and to leave my mark on this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting new people and learning new things. I thoroughly enjoy learning about new cultures and places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have anything to put in here yet, but I'm planning a trip (more like a pilgrimage) sometime soon...

Interests

I'm all about trying a little bit of everything. Rock climbing, running, rollerblading, singing, reading, writing, photography, anime, movies, music, friends, cooking, sneaking, knitting, building, creating, sharing, loving, gaming (traditional and video) and everything in between. I won't limit myself to what I already know, I'm always open to new experiences :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Children of Men, 300, Pulp Fiction, Oceans 11/12/13, Garden State, Gladiator, Moulin Rouge, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Boondock Saints, The Departed, Cowboy Bebop, Steamboy, anything by Miyazaki or Disney, Stranger than Fiction, Pirates of the Caribbean, Saving Private Ryan, and too many more to list.

I remember being interested in reading once, that only lasted long enough to get me through a few classics: 1984, To Kill a Mockingbird, Catcher in the Rye, Rainbow Six, and a few others. I'm not bad at reading, I just choose to spend most of my library time in the section with all the picture books.

Music is everything to me. If there's one international constant, it's music. Music has the power to bring people together, you can squeeze more meaning into a few lines of song than a thousand pages of text. I listen to a little of everything, from hip-hop to rock, to techno, house, dance, alternative, J-pop, K-pop, classical, punk, swing, jazz, and blues. I think the only thing that seldom appeals to me is country, but I've been known to make exceptions :) Specifically you should listen to Ben Folds, The Decemberists, and Do As Infinity, they'll change your life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been known to free climb. I've scaled cliffs hundreds of feet high without any kind of equipment or help. Some people think I'm reckless but I say I'm just adventurous.

I'm still young, and I have plenty of time to do something amazing :P

Teach, Learn, Share

Survival, dance, Taekwondo, random useless trivia, photography.

I've been known to dabble in a little bit of everything, sometimes I even surprise myself at what I'm good at.

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany

Countries I’ve Lived In
