ABOUT ME

I only recently have grown into my aimed at profession: historian. See, I am actually studying to become a teacher for age 6 to 16 in English and History so I never thought that I'd ever turn out a proper historian, especially as those are a bit `screwless´- but hey, I am mutating into one quickly and I am actually enjoying it. A new friend of mine was very surprised to learn that I am not only a history geek(uhm, eXcUse meee?) but also take amazing pictures. Well, once upon a time, I did plan to study arts - but thinking about that, I also did start a degree in law... so, yes I am quite `diverse´. ; )
Part of desiring to become a teacher is that I love to share the world and to enable kids to think. This goes hand in hand with continuously learning about the world myself. I do believe that only as a student (of life - wow, that sounds cheesy) you will be able to teach in a way where you can reach your pupils and hopefully contribute making the world a better place. One trick is to learn from my pupils and thus be a better teacher.
Yes, of course you need a lot of energy for that -
and no, I don't always have it -
but I love it. ; )
