About Me

Right now I'm just trying to meet interesting folks, share stories and take photos.

I'm a photographer, filmmaker, and a frequent cook. I used to sell outdoor gear. I'm back to slinging beers. I play music far too seldom to be called a musician. I used to design tires for Michelin but gave it up to figure out what's next. I like wearing too many hats...

I hosted a live music performance video series from my porch: Vimeo.com/danmanor -it’s also a music venue sometimes. https://www.facebook.com/hospitablecat/

Compassion. Making the world a better place than how I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet others, show off my city, be a good host and make some friends. I'm thinking of doing a documentary photo project including folks I meet through couchsurfing.

I have hosted a sommelier student, a medical school test-taker, TWO separate cross-country walkers, a touring cyclist and touring musicians, and I've helped and given rides to various others here and there.
