Hello World!

I'm just a college student seeing what's out there in this great big world. I know from previous experiences that the best moments are not planned. I try to use "no" as little as possible. People are going to think you're weird and judge you no matter what you, might as well have a little fun. I try to live as much of my life as possible outside of my comfort zone. I'm a firm believer that if you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

I hope to spend my life challenging the status quo and spreading the good news of happiness, though I'm still figuring what form that make assume.

I try to be as friendly as possible in all situations. I think one of the greatest gifts you can receive in life is the presence and company of friends (whether new or old).

I've spent the semester studying abroad in Northern Ireland and I'm hoping to enhance my experience with a little (or a lot) extra traveling and exploration. I'm looking forward to combining my enthusiasm for new experiences and meeting new people.

"Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer is pretty much my favorite book ever. Also "The Secret Life of Bees" by Sue Monk Kidd, "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury, and anything by Flannery O'Connor.

An infectious personality. People have told me I'm pretty funny. Also, I know a bunch of weird facts about random things that have benefited me at random points in life. I'm game for conversations on everything from traveling stories to great big theological discussions to common fandoms.
